They are the body codes for the RX7s



FB = First Generation body style 1985 and down..



FC = Second Generation Body style 1986 - 1991



FD = Third Generation body style 1992 - 2002

What he said...

But I'll just add that the series 1 (78-80) was also known as an SA due to the starting Vin codes
