what i sbetter fornt mouted inter cooler or top ? anyways im almost done with the swap i started the motor bout im having problems with maf i have to hold it open if not it shuts off what can be the problem?

 

top is fine as long as its ducted ok

Exactly, its not so much where its at, but how airflow is getting to it.

 

Front mount would be better if done right with hard pipes and no side exit end tanks.

 

sure if you want 4" more in piping maybe

 

Front mount! There is so much room in first generation rx7s. My 2cents use two nissan gtir pulsar intercoolers cut tanks off weld the two cores so it twice as thick, not long. Have tanks made use 2 1/2 in and 3" out all the way to the TB.

 

any issues with heat with top mounts..

i have a front mount that is 2 FC topmounts cut and welded together. Previous owner sold it too me and bought a big shiny FMIC and got about 4 hP more.
