Hey I have a fuel problem.

Car turns on, Carb leaks massive amounts of gas from side ( seal maybe? Too much Pressure? )

Holley 4barrell carb, high pressure fuel pump, and aftermarket FPR.

I bought the car built for the most park and now its time to be tweaked.

Sidenote: whats a good fuel pressure for a fully built 12A with a streetport?

6 psi is recommended for Holleys. what part of the carb is the gas leaking from?

 

well it was just over flowing. then i had my uncle check it out (the master mechanic) and he gave the carb. a few taps with a hammer and it was fine. he said something was stuck open, or closed, some valve type thing. thanks for the f.p.r. setting.....

 

Thats common quick fix (stuck float needle/valve?). However that may mean dirty fuel so replace your fuel filter just incase.

 

Yeah ill have to look at that. It happend again the other day and then just stopped overflowing. The car sat for a few months so i gotta tune it again.
