Been there. Did you plug the holes coming through the firewall or remove the condensor thingy from within its plastic box inside the dash?

I plugged the wholes cuz the stupid wasps here fill anything they find open with mud...not fun

figured there was some more junk inside the dash...but I'm not really worried about digging it all out...seems like more trouble than its worth if you ask me

This is gonna sound ghetto as hell, but it works very well and looks good too...

When I ripped out my AC, I plugged the two holes in the firewall using the pop off caps from a milk jug. Painted them both black and coated the backs with high heat gasket sealer. After cleaning up the excess sealer it looks like they're supposed to be there!

Oh and if you're really retarded aout weight reduction like I am, the condenser thing under the dash weighs about 5 or 10 lbs...it's heavy! I ripped it out and fabbed up a piece of aluminum hose to replace the hole left behind. It works really well and looks kinda nice if you take the time to look under there.

then I found a bolt in my box as well...which appears to be about...eh...half inch or somethin...i'm bad at juding...either way...stuck it in the bottom hole...twist a bit...nice and tight

I dunno about where you guys live...but if I leave ANYTHING unplugged...something moves in...stupid wasps usually...building their mud nests...i've gotta pop the hood and remove 3 or 4 of those things a week sometimes...its crazy

so no matter what i'm doing to the car...if theres a hole...i'm lookin for something to plug it with...cuz the stupid wasps are already trying to move in
