Default two cars to fix

i'm very new here so i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, usually i do that.. but anyways

yesterday i bought two rx7's from an old man with a lot of cars on his property that have just been sitting for years. i bought the pair for 600 bucks. the two cars are a unknown year SA, and a 1983 FB. the FB is gunmetal gray and the SA is silver. FB is in better body condition than the SA but i believe the SA might be better mechanically. i'll see if i cant get pictures up tomorrow.

both the cars were parked on his property at one point, from my detective skills i'm guessing probably over 10 years. the FB has tabs from 99, and the SA from 02. he told me he used to buy and sell cars from auctions and the SA he bought and drove himself for a while then parked it and let it die. the FB he bought from auction it had a brand new motor in it, never even turned over.

my project now is to get them running . what i've determined about the FB is that the motor is seized up because it has sat so long, i tried putting it in gear and rolling it forward to try and break the rotors free but to no avail, it may be a little harder because the wheels are flat. what i did next was take the air filter off the top of the carburetor , i put some MMO in the carb to possibly loosen up any old gasoline, might just take the carb off and submerge it in kerosene if the MMO doesnt help. i also took out one of the sparkplugs and tried to find a funnel that would fit into the hole to pour some MMO into the engine itself. i also took my battery out of my integra and hooked it up, i had power to the car when i stuck the battery on in the beginning, but then i went and did some other stuff and came back and it seemed to not be getting any power to anything, the battery still has all its power, hooked it back up to my integra and it worked. so i'm not sure what the electrical thing is, maybe it's just picky and will work when i hook it back up tomorrow. i also put some water in the radiator, but i'll probably just remove that and clean and refill it.

my agenda for tomorrow is to borrow my friends jack and put my spare wheels on the car and remove the gas tank to clean it out and put some new gas in it. and get a new fuel filter.

now this is where i ask a question, where do i manually crank the motor since the car didn't break free when i tried to push it. i've read that you use a 15mm wrench on the alternator pulley, which would be the big *** drum that also attached to my clutch fan and all other pulleys?

anyways, pictures tomorrow, thanks for any help

I don't know about the alternator pulley, but you should have a bolt in the middle of your main pulley, where the clutch fan is. Turning that will turn the engine over.

i didn't get anything done with the car today because it started raining pretty badly, i pulled the boat out of the garage though so once i put some wheels on it i can roll it into the garage and work on it whenever.

i did buy some stuff for it today, i bought new plugs, new wires, 2 fuel filters, 1 oil filter, a gallon of oil, and a battery.

the tow truck guy dropped off the SA today as well, i tried to put it in gear and roll it off the flat bed but it wouldn't budge, also the clutch is totally stuck on that one.

how do i add pictures that are bigger than 200 kb?

Pull the plugs and squirt some MMO or ATF in the plug holes before you try to turn the engine over.

Dunno about the size limit on pics. Either scale them down, or link to an online photo server.

i am in the process of trying to get some wheels on the car so i can roll it into the flat garage, right now its in a gravel driveway and it's quite a pain to jack it up out there. once i get it into the garage i can lift it up and get at the spark plugs from the bottom, i feel like that will be a bit easier.
