What kind of motor can i put into a 84 gsl-se, i want to put a motor that has a turbo on it. if you all can help me out with that, that will be cool. Thanks

You can use either the 2nd or 3rd gen engines with the right modifications. The most popular is using a 2nd gen Turbo engine. There are quite a few people here that have T2 conversions.

 

is it a direct bolt on or is there modifications to be done. if so what kind of mods. im kind of new at the rx-7 so you are going to have to bare with me lol. and also where can i find a used 2nd gen motor with a turbo for cheep but in good shape.

 

Theres a thread on the commie board "click here" that will supply all the info you should need. Do a lot of reading. This will save you a lot of time posting questions. We could create our own FAQ thread on T2 swaps but why re-invent the wheel?
