For everyone's info, I am using a 83 12a tranny. It is holding up (fingers crossed) because I have not really abused it with hard shifts yet. I do plan on upgrading to a t2 tranny. Here are a couple of pics. To be honest, I did not build the pretty engine you see. I bought the car from a guy in mass. who just finished building the car. I was going to get a t2 but this is sooo much cooler than a 2nd gen and only weighs in at about 2400lb.

Couple of questions, are you sure the guy you bought it off from, didn't recently purchase it from a guy in

Florida? - the car looks familiar.



Also, what size wheels are those?

T2 transmission. It's from a newer (second gen) Rx-7 turbo.

My goal is july 1st, I want to at least start the rough tuning by then.
