Not one to dig up old threads, but my T2 ecu is a N340. Can anybody shed some light? Or is it a j-spec thing?

Its a j-spec one.Which means no emissions garbage.Mine won't have emissions either tho. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Less stuff to hook up. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Cool.

As usual I've got something more complicated than usual. My friend who I bough the half-cut off, was told that it is from a late-model s4, so its like a s4/s5 hybrid. Its got the s4 flywheel and clutch, but other bits are different to a s4. I just hope I got the s5 rotors and turbo. Having mech OMP would be a bonus.

It'll get a mech OMP anyways seeing the 12a cover has one stock anyways. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

When I was stripping the front-cut I found a dated wiring loom. 1988.

I would think the 87 and 88 ECU's are different because of the injector differences? 87 being low imp inj and 88 having high imp.

they use an external resistor pack for that, so the ecus' interchange, but that might be it, nobody really knows
