my buddy and i are putting aturbo on my 79 rx7. do they make turbo intakes for the 12a??? i coulda swore i saw a picture of one. anyway, its probally all gonnn be custom, itll be fun, i hope.

 

actually i think they still make kit's im not sure......i think camden was one of them or atkins.....not really sure but it's worth a try to check

 

Ya I'd like to know too. I wanna put a Cheap Turbo Conversion on my 1980 12A. Im not looking for power numbers, more of a little increase of power and the unique-ness of having your car turbocharged. Any suggestions?

 

there was a turbo 12a, but its not imported to the us.

 

Ya, 1983, I seen one, it had the mirrors up on the front fenders and it was right hand drive. It was at an import show and shine, too bad my car doesnt shine.

Robert sells turbo plenums and intakes for cheap, check it out. I hope you're a fan of blowthru systems. He also sells stock japanese 12a turbo engines.

 

sweet, ill take a look, thanx. ill try to get some pictures up as soon as i get the new chasis. oh, and dont worry, primer isnt the shiniest color either...

 

Also, I'm not too familiar with them (as I have never done business with them) but I know Corksport sells imported turbo 12a's. I am sure they could get manifolds easy. I think they sell the motor for like 900$, but I am sure they would need a rebuild. Something to check out anyway.
