I have been thinking of puting a turbo 2 motor in my 82 since the motor blew in july, but I don't know if I should. I found a 87 w/85k on the motor, it runs fine the car was put in a ditch and the frame is bent I could get the whole car for 1000.00 is that a good deal?

i'm in the middle of the swap right now, its fairly easy. little nagging things here and there. mostly old stuff that needs to be replaced, i think its worthwhile in the end.

Is there a way to put the power steering from a gsl-se in a 82gsl

 

Why would you want it?To rob more power.If you have wide enough tires that you need power steering then you must have ungodly wide rubber.

I have had my 1st gen since 1991. My first car I got when I was 15 and never got rid of it. the first project was the auto to manual swap, after that I loved driving it. I did that in 96 and jacbos ingnition, power pulse exhaust w/header, springs and bliesten shocks and lighten flywheel.



the jacobs ingnition, exhaust and flywheel will be for sale when I get started. after the nissan is done and sold.

 

i'm guessing an SR is going in the nissan ?

 

Didnt Nissan Sentra SER's come with SR20's in the day? Why arent there more people doing those swaps?
