Is there a 4 seater version of the 1st gen rx7's? all ive seen so far are 2 seaters...

And what are stock times/specs on a 1st gen 12a? i JUST found out now that my cousin GAVE HER 84 GSL AWAY!!!! she said if she knew i liekd em, she woulda given it to me :-(. this only makes me want to get one more tho....

She said it NEVER broke down for her at all, and that it was quick... does that sound realistic to you guys? My uncle even said it was a quick/fun car.

Because if i were to get one, id want it to be at least quicker than the 98 civic im driving right now, which probably runs something like a 15.5 to 16.0 in teh 1/4 mile. and im dying for a RWD daily driver.

Thanks guys.

If I'm not mistaken overseas (New Zealand, Australia) most, if not all, FB's were 2+2's

That's correct. Mine use to have back seats, there not very big and there's not much room back there either.

Yeah down here they're all 2+2seater.... i don't think i've seen factory 2 seater 1st/2nd gen's here(by factory i mean a 2+2 seater with taking the back seat out)

Realistally, if you have your legs still attached to your body, you wont fit in the back of one

Well, even though they're not really seats, in my 2nd gen 2+2 We did a 3 hr road trip with my friend (5'11-6') in the back seat. Main complaint he had was the Damn box that the seatbelt retracts into being jabbed in his lower back everytime I hit a bump (and Georgia roads are nothing but bumps) ofcourse he was sitting accross the seat, feet behind me and body behind the passanger seat)

only FCs came to america with factory rear seats.

a few companies made them for the FB when they were popular back in the 80s. im sure if an owner wanted too, he could have had them as an option from the dealer/factory. and some might have been imported from canada/mexico. theyre around, u just have to look.

and from what i know the bolt right in when the rear compartments are removed.
