I understand how these things work. All the horsepower gains and fuel milage gains they claim are very questionable. all this thing accomplishes is it helps mix the gasoline into the air better so you have a slightly better burn, theoretically creating more power, and reducing the amount of fuel needed for the same power. however on these carboreted cars(pardon my spelling), there will be very minor mpg gains, if at all because of the fixed fuel rate. its not varying from a comptuer like in an EFI vehicle. power, at low speeds, the fuel will mix better with the incomming air, at high speeds(like what rotary engines love) it probobly will create more air resistance than power increase.
