i have a sunroof on my 84 gslse and i dont see any tracks for it to slide back, does it come off or is it just one of those where the back lifts up?

p.s. its uses a ****/ screw to lift the roof up.

Ok it does come off this is what you need to do...

Crank the roof all the way open...

Do this till you figure how to open it by yourself...

when you have it cranked up..look in between the sun roof and your headliner...you will see 2 red <<i think>.buttons on the front of the lift.for the sun roof..push them in and then push the roof up...

Ok that was step one..now get out of the car and on the passenger side you will see a tab ..push that up with your hand in the crack of the sun roof...then lift the roof up..and crank the crank assembly down..///Sorry if you cant under stand it ...

No, your best bet is to get another sunroof screw, you see,, its a screw in a screw, in that screw. Just replace it. It isn't that hard to remove the roof man.

You push up on the large red lever to release the safety, then push on the smaller 2 red levers and lift. As you lift, pull back slightly and the sunroof pops out.

It's really, really simple. The blondes I date usually get it right on the 1st try
