I have a new alternator,battery and starter.The problem is when I go to hit the key when the engine has sat and cooled down the engine acts like its siezed.I have to park by a nice long hill to start it again.Is it possible that it siezes from sitting???My 12a never gave me this many headaches. :rant:

I would double check all the wiring going to the starter to make sure its not frayed any where or anything. You could always try the ATF trick.

Yeah you can have a loose wire on the starter that connects half of the time....

when it does that can you turn it by hand? i bet its a bad starter

I can turn it by hand but the connections on the starter are good.When you bomb start it and let it warm up then it starts fine off the ignition.I think it might be from not running my car at speed for the past month and the battery is feeling the effects of not get properly charged.I need to fire it up again in the next few days and bring it up to highway speed and see if that helps.

it could either be that the starter is not seeing enough voltage to engage, or the starter only works when its hot.

I just took it for a burn(Damn bomb starting)I have to test it one day see if its not getting enough voltage.Any reasons as to why it might not?It never did this with the 12a.I have a new starter in it too. :rant:

it could be one of the wires, or switches is bad. the fc's do that a lot, mazda added a switch in that circuit (the clutch switch) and when everything is new its ok, but when it gets old, you get the "click, click, crank" it just cant get enough voltage to the solenoid
