hey, i need some help. i have an 85 GSL-SE. it ran really well until about a month ago. now it accelerates really sluggishly and sputters a lot, until about 3 to 3 and a half grand. i noticed that there is a wierd low pitch humming/whistling noise coming from the passengers side of the engine near the O2 sensor. i think its a vacuum leak but im not sure. i havent had a chance to pin point the noise yet. i got some good ideas from other posts already, but any other advice would be great. thanks

it could be the 02 sensor too. does it idle? if it does that sorta rules out a vacuum leak

yeah it idles, but it idles really low and it stalls sometimes. but it stalls mostly when i pull out of 3rd or 4th gear, when i pull out of 1st, 2nd, and 5th gears it just goes back to the really low idle.
