Smelly Fumes!!!!.....what's causing it?

The Dellorto doesn't have idle mixture scrwes on it?

My Weber does.
It has idle mixture screws but I don't want to play with those.The mixture seems to be good in the higher rpm ranges.I just wanted to lean it out a bit not too much tho.Sometimes it runs rich most days it's fairly good as far as a 13b with nothing left related to emissions goes.

Then you might want to lean your carb out a bit.I remember when I did that on my 12a I noticed a power loss but at least the cops left me alone then.If they were behind me now they would freak.You can really smell it when it's cold.Oh well.With this engine I avoid them at all costs.

1. The idle mixture screws only affect idle mixture. Hence the name.



2. GSL-SE's don't have carbs.



3. Your 83 is not an SA22C. Its an FB.
