I just bought a Turbo II cluster For my first gen, because my cluster sucks... it only goes to 85 mph... and besides that I'm going to be putting a Turbo II engine in. And The new cluster has a boost gauge, and goes to 160 mph. The only problem is it doesn't have the Warning light cluster at the bottom(Oil- Coolent-Headlamp- ect)...So I was thinking if I got a second gen warning light cluster, I could make a custom holder for it on my dash. If so how hard would this be to wire??

its not too hard to wire. how are you going to fit the fc cluster into the older dash? does it fit?

The FC cluster is the same height, but it's about a quarter inch wider. I think I mite be able to make it work. if not I'll probably sell it

it'd be a lot easier to get the cluster from an '83 that has the 120 MPH speedo (I'm assuming yours is an older Series 2, with the 85 MPH speedo) and add a turbo gauge to the dash.

Remember, the FC cluster doesn't have any of the trouble lights integrated into it, the lighting harness plugs will be different, etc. etc.
