im putting a S5 13B in my 84 with a dellorto and a few other things. and forgot that the S5 has the electronic ignition. Do I just put the 12A distribitor in it? thanks

Im doing the same thing, Are you aware you need a different oil pan and a GSL-SE front cover if you want to run OMP. Carl

The front cover and oil pan I have already taken care of its just the mattter of the distributor and trans

S5 will bolt to a 84-85 12a transmission, they arent as weak as everyone thinks. I run the living **** out of my car some times and granted my tranny has 88k original on it thats still some miles. My only driveline problem so far has been replacing the stock clutch.
