Rx8 Alt on FB
So I'm rebuilding my old rx8's engine for the now owner and during the teardown process, I removed the alt and was walking by my other 12A project and thought "why not"...
It would appear you could make it work. I have to find out what the output is of the RX8 alt, but it does fit and seem pretty straight forward.
I have blog with the pics:

It seems with some minor shaving of the bolt spacer and probably shift the alt harness around a little, it would work. Naturally you would also need to swap the pulley out - but thats a gimme and not a big deal. When I finish the renesis rebuild, I plan on picking up an rx8 alt for when i build my 12A... maybe i'll try it on the car first (it's running w/ a stock engine right now).
Either way, any thoughts on this??

Unfortunately I dont have an FD alt laying around to verify - but it looks like it is.
Do you know what the output is of the rx8 alt vs an FD? I would imagine it's more...
