I have an 85 mazda RX-7 GSL with about 75,000 miles on it. After driving it for around 5 minutes the power cuts out and when it is fully floored its top speed is only about 25mph otherwise it runs fine. If you have any suggestions, any at all please reply. Thank you.

You need to post this in the first gen specific forum, not General Discussion. Bottom right-hand corner of your screen is the forum jump.

PS. Welcome to nopistons.

Sounds like you have garbage in the gas tank/fuel system.

Replace your fuel filter (Driver's side rear wheel well), and see if that's clogged up.

It runs fine at first because the particles are all on the bottom. After driving it, they get mixed in with the fuel and glog the system.

I'm with DF on the fuel filter. It's probably clogged right up. When mine went out on my '82, the car would buck, alternately accelerating and then losing power. It's a cheap fix, and most likely the culprit.
