You wouldn't believe the rust I've found, you'd cringe at it (I did). If it was easy to get at places it would be better to. The boot and roof are nothing compared to the firewall and the windscreen washer panel area.

I've had rusty cars before.Some of them had ALOT of firewall rot.Not rust but rot itself.Those ones I sold after a month or two of driving them.damn god awful beaters.
