Cool man, sounds like the dealer was nice to you. I remember I took my 86 to the dealer a few years ago and they were real nice. The mechanic came out and talked to me and was very passionate about rotary engines. The dealer can be a huge rip off though, don't get me wrong. The last time I went to the dealer, was the last I will ever go. I had dropped off my Jeep to have some emissions crapped worked on and have my tranny serviced. It took them a couple extra days to do it since they had to order the part, and I needed my Jeep by Friday. I had called them and they said it was all done and ready for pick up. When I did pick it up they said that they had only serviced the tranny and the emissions part should arrive on Monday and they would call me. When I went to grab the Jeep out in the parking lot there was so much tranny fluid sitting on the ground underneath it that it looked like they had changed it right there. Anyways over the weekend I thought I heard a funny rattle coming from the engine compartment, but that is nothing too unusual on the Jeep. On Sunday I decided to investigate and when I opened the hood my transmission dipstick was laying on top of my engine! They forgot to put it back in and closed the hood on it. After that I decided it would be in my best interest to do work by myself. I really enjoy working on cars now, it really turned into a hobby of some sorts. :bigok:
