I own a 79SA RX-7. I bought a renisis out of a donor RX-8. Already moded oil pan from stock 12a. Side draft Mikuni carb and custom tube intake. Will try to get stock ex manifold to fit. Not likely with O2 sensor sticking up. I''ll let you all know how it fits. Plans to make oil pans for FC-renisis swap.

Awesome. Do you have the 6 poort motor or the 4 port motor from automatic. Hopefully you have the 6 port. whats your pan as far as motor mounts are concerned? Take some pics of every thing. If you dont mind let us see the oil pan.

Asked for a mt rx-8 motor. Got a at rx-8 motor. Local rotary gurus seem to think we can squeeze 200hp+/- out of our motor w/those side draft Mikunis. I'm still working on the fc oil pan b4 iI install motor to build intake. Absolutely one-off. Just picked up a body kit for the same car. Read in the SCCA SOLO rule book that car older than 30 years old cannot run in stock class. Why keep it stock? It is in great condition and completely stock.!
