I have a gsl-se rear hatch in the barn. will I have to custom wire it to work on my 84

You could always see if it fits or not...but be sure you mark where the hinges hook to either the glass or the body so you can get it back on if you need to...not really familiar with the style of the glass on the gsl-se myself...I thought they looked pretty much the same but I could be wrong...just don't try putting one from one gen to another.



and one last thing...be sure whatever you do that it seals...the last thing you need is a water logged ride...good luck

All rear 1st gen glass are the same shape/size its just some has a wiper on it ......



You cannot mark where the glass sits..cause the hinges sits on rubber gasket which sits on the glass...on both sides of the hinge..

well the reason I am looking at it is it has a wiper and defrost. but I wasnt shure if the wiring harness on my 84 had the connectors for the wiper motor thanks
