yup the 12a cover will work on a 13b ........now i might be sellin the gsl-se oil pan and 88 tranny i got that just got rebuilt cuz i aint gonna need them but i let you guys know if i do.

Ok **** since we are on this subject...I need a tranny..my syncros are shot...and I want a better ratio tranny..I can get a 86 tranny right now cheap..very cheap....
From what I think 84-88 is the same tranny..right?Is it the same 9in clutch?and same splines for the clutch on a 86 as a 84?I just got my clutch kit like 1 month ago..and like the 2500 lbs pressure plate..and gonan get a 3 puck...or 6 puck clutch made..like 3 weeks.. Some one told me I can use a second gen tranny but I need to change the tail shaft... Well anyways I need some opinons.. I was looking for a Turbo II tranny or GSLSE..but I can get a 83/82 GSL tranny alot easier and cheap....BUT I think the shifter sits closer to the firewall..and I was looking for the 84-88 so I can get my deal ont he short shifter..I was looking for something geared good for a GSLSE rearend..wut do you guys recommend? and I will get a TurboII or GSLSE tranny for the 13B im gonna build..What do you guys thing going turbo on N/A housings? |
