In my friend's (maybe mine in the future) 84 GS I noticed that there are almost as many solenoids and vacuum hoses as on my 93. If I ditch the cat, which I will, can I get rid of some of those solenoids and hoses? If so, which ones can I get rid of? Thanks.

coolant temp sensor
oil pressure sender and you could leave the choke thingee (back of the water pump) so the choke magnet works. mike |
I wont need coolant if I use aftermarket gauge

you are planning to take it off the Fb not the Fd right??
Really wouldent recomend it on the Fd. on the other hand I know alot of people on www.rx7club.com that have taken all the stuff off. I plan on doing it here pretty soon. |
Supposedly there is some float bowl solenoid or something for the Nikki carb that you need to leave on. Its been so long since I had a stock carb I don't remember it.
