my friend has a new firebird he has it to about 250 hp and he has a sound system that weighs it down but any ways i have an 85 gsl se and he wants to race i dont have anything done to my car but do you think i could beat him ?

Why don't you find a nice stretch of bendy roads and go for a drift instead? Thats heaps more fun than dragging anyway (IMO)...

thats the thing i have a 5 speed manuel and i dont exactly know how to get the most power and when to shift to get it the fastest so im trying to get someone to teach me but so far not many people i talk to know

mine shifts too clunky to drag race

Yeah, I reckon. Dragging isn't so fun, even if you win, your fuel guage still reads as low as the other guys.

Not as much skill involved either. If you shift "mad fast yo" in a straight line, you've got all the experience you need.

Driftin' is where its at. Just look at some WRC footage. Those guys are the f*cking best!

oh well, that sux.

I love team drifting too, where you find a few nice curvy streets, and go around it with a few people, car behind car. Looks wicked from the street and passerby's, takes heaps more skill not to hit the other team mates.
