totaly lost. i'm wondering where i could get a new engine for my car, it seems to be loosing compression\power. its not too big of a deal, but something im going to need to do sometime. also, i was wondering if it is possible to put a latter modle engine ( like a 13b? ) into my '82. if any of you are savy enogh to know this, i'd appreciate the help.

First things first. Update your location in your user control panel, so people know where you live. Makes it easier for others to suggest shops in your area.



It is reasonably easy to switch a 13B into your car.

Just some of my experience. I had to ship a motor from Canada to Arizona and total cost worked out to $250 USD two years ago. Very reasonable.

is there a "how to" manule out there to swap a newer engine into this '82, or a kit? and how much or where could i find that newr engine?

no manual, just the experience of all the forum members to guide you through.



Do you want a 13bt from a T2 or you just after a GSL-SE 13B?

preferably from a turbo 2, but if that makes it too difficult, then id be happy to settle for the regular. i donmt even know where i could get either of these (other than a junk-yard )
