This project has been sitt'in aroud for a wile. The original plan was for a full bridge 12A with a turbo II trans. I made a slight error in judgement and jumped ship to a different engine builder. I had built Two 12A's done by Jesus Padilla A.K.A. Kilo Racing. Ended up with this other guy. long story short I paid this dude in full and almost four months later no full bridge. The mother fucker hasn't even finished cutting my plates! Last week I got fed up and realy tired of spectating so I decided to use a street ported 12A instead. Granted it's a LARGE street port. Should still be fun and stratch this itch. My friend made the motor mount for me. Oh yeah for a gear box I'm using a donated Rx-3 4 speed. Not a turbo II trans but the next best. I made the trans crossmember my self. Still have two mount the rad and fuel pump. Hope fully we'll be doing the wireing this week end. It shouldent be two bad because the previous owner had a rotary under the hood. Got my hands on these ignition boxes from Summit, buit in digital rev limmiter as high as 12,500 rpms. I think their a copy cat of the mallory but with a summit sticker. Way cheaper than msd's and no pills and extra bullshit to buy.

My friend G came over yesterday afternoon and wired up my ignition boxes. Every thing went well and the rest of the wireing from the previous owner is kinda ghetto but works. Our goal is to be rady for the Pan-am Nationals at lakeland motorsports park. Dec. 1-2. Its bracket racing so we'll see. Oh we attempted to fire her up but my racingbeat carb I think sat for too long so Im gonna have to take it appart and clean her up. I'll post some more pics and deffently a video when we get the bitch started!
Looks good.Just make sure that the wiring won't short and cause a fire.Thats the last thing you want after spending that much time on it.
Mon after work I took apart my holley. I cleaned her up and gave her a fresh set of gaskets. Fired the car up!! I'm pretty exited it sounds tough for a street port. Havent done any tuning yet. A few more things to tighten up be fore I drive her If I knock every thing out I should drive it sat night or sun. I will make/post a video so yall can check it out and voice your opinions.
Did you ever drive it?
No I didn't! My SE has some serious issuies. I needed a car to drive to work so the motor from the GLC was taken out and put into an 84 rx-7 so I can get around. On the bright side I recieved some funds and sent the glc to kilo racing on sat. Going to follow through on the original plan. 12A fullbridge/turbo II trans.

Hay man that look's very nice se ve de show

Ran her at lakeland motor sports park. its 1/8 mile and it was a bracket racing. 8.32 @ 85 mph. 1.60 60ft. Im pretty sure she'll get into the 12's in the 1/4 mile. not too shabby for a full bridge 12A all motor

First 1/4 mile event this past sunday! War of the imports at Orlando speed world 12.4 @ 105mph. I need a better gear like a 4.88.
A friend of mine wrecked his glc in november. Long story short hes selling me his 9" ford rear it will be a bolt in. 4 link whellie bars coil overs the whole deal. Im hell bent on on dipping in to the high 11's. Then im gonna stay carbed and switch to alcohol .
Ahhhhhh 12a is the ****
Having starting issues. theres about 40ish passes on my motor. Theres no noticeable power loss. Motor is comming out. Address the problem, also my ford rear end is going in. big event in April, shooting for low sevens
sick photo...
Took the motor out the other day. Alot of seal wear on the rear rotor. Plus one of the rear apex seals was broken. Luckly the seal stayed in the rotor. Side seals were also worn pretty bad, the ones on the back side facing the rear plate were the worst. no bearing damage.
well my full bridge isnt ready. Some local guys donated most of the parts I needed, full set of atkins apex seals and springs. Then another guy gave me new side seals and springs. All that was left was the gasket set and I bought it. Ive been around as far as engine builders. Again I find my self jumping ship to a new shop. No problems, when I took my motor out and apart Benito Velez AKA EL Loquito recomended that I change my ports a tad to make more power. Cool but the man got sick and long story short had to get open heart surgery. He'll be out of commission for some time. There are two races this month. Battel of the imports next sunday at Orlando speed world. Then one of the most anticipated events of the year at lakeland motorsports park the following weekend, Puerto Rico VS US. So I decided to use my back up motor a half bridge. What can I say this white boy loves to race. The motor is in and runs just needs to be tuned up.
went to battel of the imports sunday. red light in the seconed round due to clutch issues. half bridge did 13.3 granny shifting. staging was a pain, put the car in gear and tack her up, and she starts to creep after a seconed or two. So i let the other guy stage first then i staged and tacked her up after the first amber. that worked great in the first round. seconed round i did it too early and ate the lite. when i switched motors the disk was a tad worn and that pressure plate has benn around so maybe its time for new ****. I had lots of fun and i wana thank my friends that help me out. racing dosent work without friends at least when your poor. who sells a good clutch for racing that is good quality and wont break the bank?
8.2 with the halfbridge. New track in Orlando its 1/8th mile, nice track. A little more room for improvement need to mess with the timeing a bit maybe a change in jet size.
its been a long time last run was sep 09... The half bridge supn both rotor bearings. She likes to pull the front wheels up. The last pass in sep i broke 3 out of 4 wheel studs on the driver front... It could have been real bad. The car got super loose almost crashed... new clutch new gears ford rear is in. The full bridge is going to be closed tonight or tomorrow. All new bearings she's gonna need a **** load of break in time... The neighbors will be happy. oh well **** them I'll try to snap some pics of the rebuild..
lol nice man! i pulled off my muffler of my single turbo fd and my neighbors got a little unhappy. i tried my fb with the headers dumping under the car and it was louder than my fd. thankfully i did it during the afternoon when noone was home in the neighborhood lol.
motor still isnt closed. paint and body work under way...
