Just joined. My power steering doesn't work in my 1985 gsl se. Mechanic says he can get the pump but not the housing that covers the pully and the rod that holds the belt. I need the entire power steering mechanism that attaches to the pump. Will accept used, rebuilt or new. Have tried several places any suggestions?

i know re-speed has aftermarket rack and pinions but according to mazdatrix there's no longer any production of aftermarket parts for power steering. they have a manual steering rack and the parts but that's all i've really found :/

I also have a se with a broken power stearing pump. Does any body know if a FC pump can be moded to work?
