I have had almost every port cofigueration minus PP and full Bridge. Stock is cool up grade the carb fuel system and exghaust. conservative street port, nothing super special. better sound better power of course, still kinda mild. Big street port good I like it its what I have now. good tourque if u will. Pulls hard to 9k. half bridge is SWEET, the sound brap brap brap brap killer top end lots of fun! Gas mileage sucks but to me its worth it. So to sum it up if fuel mileage isnt an issue go half bridge. I hate makeing Hp clamis but I wana sa with a sweet tune 12a Halfbridge all motor 180RWHP???maybe a bit higher. I never got mine dynoed? A close seconed would be large street port verry driveable an hp can be real close.

the full bridge tuned right will do 210+ rwhp, my friends 13b bridge did 230@9600. it did brap, but mileage was fine (26freeway)....

my next car is getting a PP motor, so we'll see how that is...

um just on you suggestion list, skip the hawk brake pads, hawk = crap, ebc is good, carbontech is better, hell even stock is ok. hawks are really hard on the rotors, and then all the hot metal coming off the rotors from the hawks, ends up all over the car, it usually ruins the wheels.

I needed some experienced advice on this matter. Thanks J9.

If you wish to see some dyno result sheets and mods, you may want to look in here to give you a rough idea of what people are running:

Well ive been reading up about the sterling carbs a little bit and it def sounds like more the direction i want to go in. I def want to autox and the weekend cruise/spirited driving. What is the normal pricing for a a motor pull rebuild, bridge port and reinstallation normally run. Ive been trying to get into contact with the only & shop in our state but havent heard back from them yet. Im really hoping to get this into the shop withen the next few months.

The Guy with the PP port is running a really restrictive exhaust which is what's really killing him, plus he was undercarbed if I recall correctly.

Hey guys. Just joined the group over here. I saw this thread and thought that I would "chime" in. I am running a 12A blowthrough in my 83 GSL with a stockport at 10psi with a boost prepped Nikki that is about 200rwhp. In these little cars, that much hp can get you in trouble. I have about a grand in doing my blowthrough, but I made all my parts and did all the work. Here is a couple vids to give you the potential of the 12A .
