Out of Mothballs

I have a 1982 GSL 12a motor with about 102,000 mi that ran strong with a stock rebuild Nikki. I ran a whole gas tank with Seafoam through it, drained the fluids, capped the outlets and stored it in a dry and safe garage late in 2008. I am finally getting ready to put the motor in my race car project this summer after I install a new Weber 48IDA, new plugs, fluids, ignition control etc.
Any special routine or procedure I should go through to have better success in firing up the old motor?

Sounds like you stored it pretty well, I think I'd throw some oil in through the spark plugs and maybe even hand crank it just to make sure nothing is sticking, but honestly I'm not sure I'd bother with that.
