I finally braved the cold and got my 13B swapped NA up and running again.Last time it ran it was with my old dellorto setup https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png I miss that old reliable carb. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif I got it to run with a few cranks of the key but I still need to set the timing with this carb setup on it.My problem I am running into is the car want to rev to 6k and stay there when its cold.Is there something I can adjust on the carb to set this lower is it something to do with the throttle cable?I did have to build custom linkages because the factory weber linkages like to snap and bend like twigs. At least it fires up now.Never tried it since this carb was working right.Any help is usefull.Heres a quick pic of my beasts engine bay for those who even remotely care.
Thanks. |
I wish I knew more about weber carbs.

is that what it looks like when you take out the rats nest?

Fuel Pressure too high, and/or dirty carb.
Try lots of carb cleaner first. |
