My question is what do you do with the oil injectors to block them off??? Can you just plug the oil hoses with some bolts at the OMP instead of building a block off plate????Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance. |
the normal way is to put a bolt in place of the metering nozzle, but you could leave the lines and block it off on the bottom too

I was just thinking of what do most people use to replace the injectors on the intake and on top the engine.I could just unbolt the lines at the pump and use shorter bolts tho to block it off can't I? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

I saw this one 13B from a 85 SE online and he pulled the injectors and lines out.I love the way it looked. :bigthumg:

i had an 84, years ago, where mazdatirx had built a 13b out of a 12a, they used the se housings with the metering nozzles, but since it was still carby, they used the 12a metering pump. they just put bolts in the rotor housing to cover the hole.

i put bolts in my rotor housings and had the holes in the intake manifold welded shut and ground them smooth..

Goody.Sounds like I might have some fun. Then I'll have to learn how to pre-mix well. :bigthumg: At least it will clean up the engine bay a bit for a cleaner appereance :bigok:
