85 12a 5sp-no emissions, header, exhaust, pulleys, holley fuel pump, new edelbrock carb. where should i put the small oil lines that come up beside the alternator. where would i hook them up to the carb? the car did have a holley 650 dp on it and they were just stuck down the throat of the carb by the previous owner

Yea, thats because all those lines do when theyre hooked to the stock nikki carb is drip oil into the carb basically the same way. You can do it the same way or DRILL! (Ekk) Or you can pre mix.( get the best two cycle oil you can find, try a harley shop, and mix it 100 to 1 when you fill your tank. If you happen to choose the latter, you can eliminate your oil pump. (research this massivly before attempting it if you dont understand everything, There are concerns and arguments about this subject, but I vote yes or dual oil pumps....lol)

I'd premix if I were you but some guys drill and tap into the intake manifold for the oil feed lines.

Pre-mixing is tedious, but since your in control of the mixture its probably the better way to go just because of the fact that you will never have to worry about that little pump going out. But dont ever put it off or go cheap on the mix.

what oil do you think is best and 100:1 is the standard? how much oil is 100:1 with a full tank of gas? what all is involved in doing away with the oiler pump?

From what Ive read(and this is just what Ive read) Get the best two stroke motorcycle oil you can find, and as for the 100:1 mix, if your using the stock gas tank, check the manual, if your driving the gsl-se make sure you check the fuel volume for it and not the standard car, I think it came with a bigger gas tank.

I WOULD JUST TAKE THE CHOKE PLATE OFF AND JUST RUN THE OIL HOSES THREW IT AND JUST ZIP TIE IT SO IT JUST DRIPS RIGHT INTO THE MAIN BARELLS
