All those should go off when you're charging. They come on for a "bulb"

check. Then when the output voltage of the alt passes the battery voltage,

they go out.

i was looking at mine and i think all of the 12v power comes from 1 wire, they are all white with black stripe

do you mean black with a white stripe??? so you are saying the alt wire is not where it should be, because the lights stay on when the car is running....well, i guess i need to try and rethink/rewire the alt. thanks man.
