O2 sensor?

ive recently noticed that theres a braided line that bolts into my exhaust. its on the connecting pipe (the pipe between the last cat and the muffler) or at least thats what i think its called. my dad tells me that he thinks its an O2 sensor. Can anybody verify that it is indeed an O2 sensor cuz my manual says nothing about it anywhere.

if it's just connected to a bolt then it's a grounding strap.

Yeah, I don't think any FBs other than the GSL-SE came with an O2 sensor. Unless someone installed one later.

My 84 and my 85 both have an exhaust overheat temp sensor in the midpipe. Earlier cars had it on the floorpan IIRC.

So it's prob the overheat exhaust sensor cuz mines an 84. Thanks for the help guys
