I had was looking into a isuzu NPR intercooler. I can get the biggest one 19.5x14.5 and 2.75 inlet and outlet. is this going to be too big and affect my radiators ability to cool. I want to be able to boost from 10-18 ibs.

I suppose that depends on teh turbo. I'm gonna be using smaller/ to medium sized turbo, so i got the Small NPR, i actually got the large and traded it for the small.



but as far as affecting your radiator, i dont know. I dont think it would, but it may.

I'm not sure what your fabrication skills are, but i think that intercooler would be awesome mounted horizontally (as in flat, under the car) with some ducting. there is so much room underthere that could be used if you can make your own brackets and ducting. not sure how well it would fit upwards though. I've only seen those used on DSMs for the most part. I haven't had my head under my fb in awhile though, so i might be overlooking something else in the way.

Would a vmount fit in the engine bay? I always thought about that...the car looks so unassuming!

A vmount in an FB would kick ***. Hurry up and do it so I can as well.



The issue would be fabricating some sort of mounting brackets...I don't know how hard that would be.

do you mean under the engine or on top?

If I can get a Volvo FMIC in a FB anything fits these cars.My FMIC is 28" wide and sits 4.25" off the ground with my 1" drop springs..
