I recently purchased a 72 Datsun 510 with a rotary 13b j bridge ported motor and Mazda trans and rear end. The throw out bearing took a crap on me so I pulled the trans and then I realized how easy it was to turn over the motor by hand. Way different than a piston motor.

Is this normal?

The motor runs like a bat out of hell so I can't believe there is something wrong?

I can turn over my 13B turbo motor by hand on the front pulley. Sounds normal to me.
