OK, I give. I've wasted a lot of time looking under the hood and under the dash but can't find the *#X%'ing thing. and am throwing my hands up and asking the collective for help!



My 1985 12A has no power to the fuel pump. The schematic I have (Hayne's Manual) shows a Fuel Pump Cut Relay which powers the pump. My problem is where in the dink is the relay? I would be most grateful to anyone that either has worked on this thing and knows where it is or has access to a factory manual that would show the location of electrical gizmos and can tell me where it is! The pump does run if I unplug it from the harness and apply 12V directly to it, so I feel fairly certain that the relay is the culprit.

Is it one of those fuseable links located on the driver side strutt tower? If thats not it run a wire from the leading coil to the fuel pump. Thats what I did on my 84. Its been fine for a year and a half. Chill out man, with great struggel come great sucess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

relay on the US LHD model is on the right hand side of the steering column, or above the drivers right foot. i think its round, 4 pin



ignitor gives the "ecu" an rpm signal, which then turns on the relay and then the fuel pump
