will the tank off a 85 fit a 80? i know tehre were some differences, dont recall if the tank was 1 of them.

i know the 79-80 tank is different, i thought it had something to do with the spare tire well, but i'm not sure. i bet the 81-85 tanks bolt in though. i just looked the straps that hold the tank in are the same from 79-85

cool thanks.

gettting a car with "good" engine, stinky interior(got wet) and baby supras. my friends got a 80 in need of a gas tank and i could make a buck or 2 in the rims and engine, well one can never have too many....
