What is the spare 13b? Is it Se or a seconed gen? My two cents go carb and spray. This is how I would do it. 6 port sucks if u ask me. I'll let u in on a little secret, Make a four port motor get some 12A plates and GSL-SE rotor housings. The se rotating assembly is heavy but it has 3mm apex seals-strong! Buy a 13 4 port intake add some nitrus and for gods sake ditch the stock rear super super shitty for drag racing go nine inch or 8.8. Also get a TII trans. When you run rotaries in drag racing u wana stand on it bouncing off the rev limiter u need strong drive train

I forgot about your other question about boost Like i said before. Se rotating assemblies are heavy and have a lower compression than seconed gen rotors.I new a guy who had a 4 port carb-turbo set up and he was using se assembly with 8 psi ran like high 11's no intercooler. His rationality was that the heavier assembly combined with the turbo was good cause it made more tourque or something like that. Im not saying this is the way to go but for what it was it was pretty good. so yes I would say 10 psi is possible with an intercooler and a good tune would be FAST! hope this helps.

man, there was a 83 12a car in my home town for 700 bux. i got this 85 GSL SE cause of the 13b. not sure what year the spare motor is out of. yeah it looks as if i'll be running the carb an bottle for sure now. so non of yall think the rear end in that car will hold up to 260+hp with 24.5/8.50/14 drag slicks? for a few passes anyway. thanks for in info so far guys.
