hot **** man! Nice car. Looks like you got yourself a Racing Beat Holley Carb , fuel pump, and intake, as well as a set of headers. (The 13bs were fuel injected from the factory...) Looks real clean too. from the looks of things it'll haul ***. Congrats and welcome to the strange world of rotary! btw, if you have any questions about your 1st gen, this isn't a bad place, but the guys at www.mazspeed.com are the end-all-be-all of 1st gens. just so you know!

well i love the car... but something is kinda holding me from enjoying it. The battery keeps getting drained i think. My car wont start. If i get a jump it starts. I got a new battery and it worked in the morning, then it died again. The alternator looks new, I dont know. Theres a lot of loose cables not being used all over the place, maybe that has something to do with it, something touching something it shouldnt... possible? When i turn the key it feels like it wont make it so i give it gas and it turns on, but sometimes the rpm just falls if i let go of the gas, then i cant turn it on no more... and the battery drains if i try to turn the key. I really wanna drive this thing... but im a total noob and im just being patient, im gonna let the man who sold it to me look it over. (it is kinda frustrating that everyone likes my car that i havent really drove yet)

Is that a Holley? Looks like an Edelbrock to me but anyhow, just because your alt. looks new doesnt mean it is! You should have it tested!

That is definitely a Holley. The fuel bowls on Edelbrocks are integrated into their bases, which means they don't leak like Holleys. I'm currently running an Edelbrock 750 on my '69 Cadillac.
