Obviously everybody is going to say turbo. I am still going to buy that FB I was mentioning earlier last month. I would like to in the winter time, rip out the engine, break it down, have it full bridge ported, 6pt cage put in, all the bullshit along with it. I would make it a drag racing car mostly. But still have it on the streets to spank on other turbo'd cars.

Good choice to go bridgeport n/a or just do a 13b-RE swap? I can't make up my mind obviously.

Thanks

Justin

NAWSSSSSSS. What shot would run along with that, and not detonate the engine? I would like to do a hybrid engine setup. I would have everything from each generation thrown in there. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen setup in there. Only thing from 3rd gen would the UIM setup, along with the alternator.

Would a 9 inch Ford rear end bolt up? I know I would have to heavily modify the drivetrain. I want to push for 300rwhp all motor. Then throw in whatever amount of shot. Now who could build me an engine like that?

A custom one would, but the rearend would cost you just as much as the engine.

Really? I did not know a 9 inch Ford rear costs that much. Thanks for the info. I am thinking of getting in touch with kahren to port my motor. Or maybe mazdaspeed7. I like his work also.

I think you would have to shorten the axels so the chassis would track right, which means you have to use 31 spline axels, for some reason the 28 spline axels can't be shortened and re-splined. For some reason 57 inches comes to mind as the shortest 9" housing, it might fit without modification under a 1st gen, but I can't say for sure.

Cool. That's great information. You're the man. Talking about this project makes me want to start it right away. Hell, just thinking about it. I went to the track last night and saw a bunch of camaro's and 'stangs running 13's, and I want to show those mullets some rotary n/a power.
