Nope lots of clearance :-) Already checked it.. there are a few people who have 17s on first gens, they fit.. I don't think anything bigger would be a good idea though.

Not to be a jerk, but I really don't believe that those aren't gonna rub when you go around a corner hard and hit a bump. I'd doublecheck the clearance with the wheel turned to full lock and the suspension compressed. I've seen tons of first gens with the telltale ding in the fender because of this. I know 17s will fit, but your offset looks like the wheels are sticking out a good bit. Hope I'm wrong....that's a SWEET ride!

Its not lowered yet, so its not going to hit the fender. I have checked everything, I had the same width tire, and heigth of the tire on there before. There won't be any rubbing. The wheels are in perfect alignment with the body they do not stick out at all because of the spacers. With the spacers you run FWD rims which set the offset in a good bit, which makes them perfect. They don't rub and honest to god, fit perfect, I already checked everything with the suspension and rubbing shoudln't be an issue until I lower it... thats a big maybe right now. The wheel adapters where $145 from WHEELADAPTERS@AOL.com

Wheel arches + a drop would do wonders for that car.

Nice.Look tight in gunmetel on that car.My cousin offered me his 17" MR7's in white when he sell the car off this fall.I think white 17's would look awesome on my turbo.I just need to sell the 15's off to cover the cost of the 17's
