Thanks guys! There is an electric fan installed, it just wansn't installed when I took the pictures, but its in one of the videos. The tan isn't that bad to clean up actually. I've got some sort of die transfer on the passenger side seat thouhg. I knew that I should of treated it before I let anyone in, damn passengers lol. I had a brown interior but I wanted a better contrast and something that isn't so hot in the summer and I've always liked tan.

As for the driving experience it has been pretty good. Still need to work out a few flat spots in the lower range, but at WOT its seems pretty perfect. And also as far as gas milleage goes, it doesn't seems pretty darn good (If I don't get too throttle happy ). But for example on the highway i can easily average about 30mpg ... ah the joy's of having a computer to lean things out on the go lol. But then if I get happy at every corner, I'll be around 8mpg lol. I still need to get some incar videos or something. Or maybe I can get some video from on the track next weekend. Its been a great experience restoring this beast, and upgrading it. This is my first car, and having no previoude experience with cars before to going to something like this, I can only thank all the forums online for all their great support for that. So thank you guys

Gonna have to say I like the tan. Reminds me of hte FDs I've seen for sale up here: dark green with tan interior.

That set up is crazy. I am interested in seeing some in-car footage.

The Engine is StreetPorted with a fairly large SP. 2 years ago with my holley 465, I managed a 147.3 rwhp and 124.2 ft-lb. I did dyno tune it a little while, but it was on a different dyno type and the dyno wasn't calibrated properly. But i'll let you know what the numbers are once I get on the good dyno again

thats your first car? i'm impressed!

not that this is very accurate, but our ITS/PS1 FC did 170ish hp and about 6mpg, so with 8mpg, you're in the ball park

Thanks. Ya i'm the kinda guy that like to challenge himself alot so something like this was perfect for me. My only problem now, I'm HOOKED! lol ... At first it was just to learn the basics on the cars, but as you can tell I kinda took that a few levels higher. This sunday I'm doing a lapping & time attack for the first time and we'll see how that goes. I'm not expecting any impressive times being first time doing this kind of thing, but should be a great experience to finally test what the car (and poor driver) can do. The last things that I'm doing before going to the race include Hawk HP+ pads, Carbon kevlar clutch, Some new falken 912 rubber, I know they're not really meant for the track but beats what I have on right now. I'm getting some better rims later on for I didn't want to spend too much on rubber right now. I want to get 15x7 for my car with some 205 rubber probably. The Falken that I bought are 195's should be a good start though with something that has a bit better sidewall.

For simplicity, you want a second gen CAS. And will also result in a more powerful spark. Its only 11 more wires (4 for the CAS), (2 for leading,), and (5 for trailing)

Damn that looks good. How did you do the color change on the dash and shifter/boot? I've used the Duplicolor dash paint to convert a maroon dash to a nice flat black... but that looks good, like the Miata's.

Looks a lot better than my first car... it still has one tan door and the paintjob I did almost 8 years ago is starting to look pretty shitty! Nice work.

i kinda like driving on crappy tires, at least to start out. theres a steep enough learning curve being on the track for the first time with other cars, that your setup doesnt really matter too much.
