my friend inherited...
...a 1980 RX7 that has sat since 2003.
I usually work on GM's, so I'm absolutely lost.
my current driver sat from 1984 to 2008, and started with a new fuel pump, plugs, and wires, and it was ready to go back into service, to get this engine going (big block oldsmobile 455) I put some marvel mystery oil in the cylinders, replaced the fuel pump, started it on ether, and tuned the carb. that is all it needed after 24 years.
something tells me this will not work on this old rotary, I don't know much, but I know these engines are picky, temperamental, and apex seals like to break.
tl;dr, RX7 sat since 2003, starting it again, what do I do?
