Picked this up about 2 weeks ago. Added louvers, sold the wheels that were on it (baby supras) and added some Enkie 92's.

Guy didnt know what he had. He only bought it to help a family member out. I got there thinking it was an OK stock 1st gen. I start looking at it and found it had a RB intake manifold, Holley carb/fuel pressure regulator/fuel pump, GSL disc break LSD rear, Full exhaust/headers, and a few other goodies. That alone was worth more than what I paid.

At first it would not run. So I did a simple carb rebuild/tune and some spark plugs. Now it runs beautiful. I believe it also has a street port from the way it idles and sounds. Guy said it had a rebuild done 20k ago. Happy to have a 1st gen again, it's been too long.

The only thing I found bad was a broken throttle cable. lol...

Oh yeah... The way it sits right now in these pics. I'm only about 500 bucks into it for everything including the cost of the car!!!

Everyone should own at least one 1st gen...

Really wish it was a 79-80 SA. I don't know what it is, but i think I am one of the few people that would rather have the SA over the FB.

If I can find an equally clean one locally, maybe I'll work out a trade..

I also would rather have a SA over a FB, but I've had my FB for too long to give up.

Nice FB though!
