Hey guys,

I've got my 12a sitting on a trailer in the carport, and I wanna stick it on the engine stand that I bought a couple of months ago, but I'm not sure where I'm supposed to mount it. Is there specific holes on the engine you use for attaching it to the stand? Do you need to get bolts for it. I've attached a pic of my stand.

TIA

Graham

I remove those "ARMS, and just bolt 2 large bolts into the AC bracket.

Good Morning

First remove the extenders from the stand i.e. bare plate. Then remove the Air Condition Bracket from the engine then use the bolts removed from the engine and you should be able to figure out how to mount the Bare Plate to the Engine. You will be ablr to use all 4 bolts.

Any ????s in more detail, just keep this thing open. Done it many times and it always works.

Or Buy the adapter plate from Racing Beat for $$$

Good Luck

Steve

Hunting is good. So is Flyfishing.

Yea Mazdaspeed site has some great info on it. It's not updated enough. But it will get you by in a pinch.

THats exactly how I ended up doing it.

As I was moving it, a wheel came off the engine stand and the whole f*cking thing fell over on its side. Broke all the plastic plate under the carb, but didn't do any other damage (that I can see). Paving is f*cked mind you.
