Hey Mike, Luis, Raul;

Gonna Get to the Puppy this weekend (it's about time).

First got to figure out if I blow the Freaker up or not, i.e.

Compresion 1st!!!!

Re-Do Timming w/RB Pulley @4000RPM

And of course **** with the RB Holley.

I disconnected the OMP and did the MMO 16oz with a fresh tank of gas. Just a Brain Fart at 3 in the morning.

New Pugs (4th set)??? Ngk's of course.

I have a new Disti and a Pair of MSD 6A SS Coils to install hopefuly if all works out ok.

If not I'm not going to waste them on this Engine and just do another rebuild.

To bad that a wasted water pump and after 1800 miles later on this new project is going to the Rotor Death.

Like $4000.00 invested in this new Machine.

Wish Me Luck as I always do the Same to our Clan.

P.S. Almost forgot my ???

Mix 16ozs per Tankfull of MMO or 1oz per Gallon. Right?

Good Morning All;

Yes it's 1oz per Gallon i.e. 16 US Gallons=16oz's!

I tried to block the OMP lines with Caps, but they just blew off. Oil all over the Bay. I guess I should have not gone for a long cruise without stopping and checking it out. Oh well another lesson to be learned.

OK: Guru's- How do I make a block off plate for the OMP?

I gots an extra Gasket for the Housing, just need to know how the best way of Deleting this pain in the Bay.

It sure runs nicer and cleaner with the MMO premix.

Plugs nice and clean.

But still smokes like Hell.

Did the Compression Thingie Sat and all is well.

So that leaves me to believe that I have a Oil Seal Problem=Dammit.

New Motor and now I'm faced with a complete tear down and start all over. (Man I'm Pissed).

This time I'm gonna have Pinnaple Racing in Portland,OR do the Rebuild. I talk to Ron Golden all the time and he seems to have his shot together on these Machines. Plus I only live 110miles from the shop.

In the meantime I guess I'll drive it till I gets the 3 Grand for the Rebuild.

Still would like info on the OMP Block Off Idea.

Thanks

steve

Believe tit or not Compression is right on.

But it sure loves Oil. So I figure the oil seals are toast. Oh well it's just a weekender for now and I'll drive it til I get the time and $$$ to go threw it again.

I did notice that it Runs a hell of alot better with the MMo Premix and does not smoke as bad.

Made a OMP Block Off Plate out of a Aluminum Peice and Permatix sealed it. (No Leaks).

I drove it to the Coast and back yesterday with know problems and plenty of power.

When I got home I poped the hood to check on any leaks i.e. Oil or water. All OK.

Except for my Fuel pressure gauge had jumped to 10PSI. Thats a new one since it been steady at 6PSI. I opened the fuel cap and it jumped back to zero. Engine not running. I also got sprayed with gas when I opened it???

RB sayes with the Holley set-up to plug the Fuel Return Line, and that's how I've been running it. What could this scenario have been caused by?

Float levels are right one. I'm thinking like the cut off valve by the gas tank or the Charcoal Cannister not working properly???

Any clues to this one.

Out of town for the week so she will have to wait till this weekend to **** her again.

In the mean time I need all the Brain Farts I can get.

thanks all

steve

P.S. The MSD Blaster SS Coils are worth the money. More response at the top end. Good Investment at $49.99US

If the canister isnt purging correctly, the tank can develop pressure just

by a rise in temperature. Installing the return from the regulator to the

tank would not affect the pressure in the tank. install a pressure relief

type gas cap and that should keep the fuel spray to a minimum.

as Usual Thanks for the Info;

Could I remove the line going to the Charcoal Cannister and run it down the outside orff the fender well -open of course or am I getting into another headache?

Or is there a way to check that the damn thing isn't plugged. It does not rattle when I bang on it, which is usualy a sign of bad unit.

I'm goona pick up one of those Gas Cap Relief type today.

I could be Flyfishing instead of screwing with these minor problems. But that's the price we pay for love-hate these Great Machines.

One other question???

Since I'm 1 Hundred percent smog free, Can I unplug the Control Unit all the together.

Thanks Again.
